I just can’t believe it. It was the only song on my playlist I listened to the whole day. Nice trip.

There we go, two months of planning and we have finally set our out-of-the-city fun crazy day/s. I miss them so much. Now, I know why God made such friends - after all those busy schedules, stressed out days, hell weeks and never ending complaints about blah-blahs - friends.. ahm, SuperFriends will always be there to brighten up your day. Like the last cookie. You won’t give nor share the last piece with your friend instead will happily and open heartedly break it into half.

Attached pic: ben, dex, me, cef and clang

Last Saturday, I and my college superfriends had a get together in Eastwood to catch up things and to discuss our upcoming trip on December. Our last get together happened when Tinggie needs to leave for Japan last March of this year. First, we meet up in Coffee Bean then fill our stomach with pizza and pasta in Pasto. It was really great to see their funny faces again and to talk stuffs back in college. From the day of our graduation last May 2005 until now, I can say that our friendship matures a lot. Like the topics that we are discussing, interest in with-sense thingies, plans for the future in career, family and life in general. Take for example Ben, after two years and a half of being so devoted to work, he now has a townhouse [Woah! Marry me Ben! Hehe], Ceffie who’s motto in life right now is “I am good at breaking my heart” [oh come on Cef, where the heck that came from?] and who plans on moving outside the country after he finished his bonds with DOST. Deki who now has a new extravagant phone [and starring ME, as his wallpaper] and is promoted to a Junior Dev Manager in Henry Sy’s newly established bank and Clangers, who is a devoted nocturnal person and is still a very good storryteller [nothing have changed clang! except those bigger cheeks that you now have]. Me? Oh well, same old wanna-be-escapee of my current company which still have no time to update my CV. Unfortunately, some couldn’t make it. Carl who is reviewing for his law exams, Leo and May-an attending on a more important stuff [tell me, what the heck is the "more important stuff" mean?], Tinggie who is enslaving her entire life with work and currently making a lot of yen in Emperor Akihito’s state.

You work hard, focused and very motivated. Just when all your forces entrap your body and imprison your soul, you felt a sudden tingling sensation in your bladder. It wasn’t orgasm of course. But can be defined as you wanted to run away and “it” wanted to escape. Well, in my way of living, I consumed two to four cups of brewed coffee a day (three creamer and two brown sugar in every cup, you do math) and eight to ten glasses of water. Cases when I have to drink half of the glass before I eat my meals, which I approximately have five chock-full a day, again, do math.

Back to my senses, business process is very much in demand in my time right now, well, I need to do it or else I am in the position to lose so much. My eyes very much intact with the screen, fingers kicking the keyboards non stop, mouse was squeaking for me to stop rolling his balls, my brain with methods, procedures, processes, entities, attributes, arrows, circles, boxes, diamonds, etc. “Do not Disturb” sign can be read in my face which people are having doubts on confronting me.

Suddenly, this tingling feeling in the lower part of my stomach started to send butterflies and grasshoppers. Hard-headed is my middle name; I tolerated the sensation for 5 minutes, then for about 10 I cannot take it anymore. Damn! I stood up and walked my way outside my workplace. Reached for the Ladies’ room, every cubicle was empty and I can pick the cleanest, neatest, most pleasant bowel in the place which obviously I have no time to choose. I’ve chosen the nearest cubicle, fill the bowel seat with an absorbent paper and as fast as I can, I zipped off my black slacks, my under thing and holla! I let out a one to two minutes loud wheeze. While doing this, I want to protest! All the focus, all those ideas and all those Arrgh! All GONE, all because of this loud wheeze. I want to blame it for everything. How I wish I could turn back time not to drink too much water so that maybe I am still sitting and working.

Done. After I had a pee, a feeling of being relaxed and calmness flew into me. I decided to loosen up for awhile and lighten up. Whew! Maybe with that sudden experience, I learned the purpose of peeing especially when caught up in a busy life in work. It allows us to at least spend time with ourselves for a minute or two. There are times when we usually take things for granted, better if we untwist our soul and remind ourselves that we need to chill out and slow down.

Oh my, now I’m blogging! Now where are those entities, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah… Start working!!!!!!!!

Gravity

As the rain violently gave her morning drizzles as early as 5:00 am, it already send a sign in my spine that I can spend my Wednesday sleeping in my twin sister, divan. Never did I agree with this cloud-watery weather. I’d rather nap and choose to stay in my ‘home sweet home’. Unfortunately, not all people were blessed with their wish on taking their day off. Instead when my ever dependent alarm clock gave her high pitched tone at 6:30am asking me to wake, I never wasted a minute and prepared myself to work.

Left the house at 7:30am, with jeans folded up until it reaches my knees. Slip on my pink with white strapped slippers, dressed in baby collared white tee, wore my white hooded sweater, scuffed my sun-kissed blush, on my right hand was my aqua blue umbrella then off to the squelchy streets.

Rode a tricycle going to ‘Caltex’ where all jeepneys are going to Pasay Rotonda, MRT Taft Station. This mini ride was supposed to exit me to the subdivision, but it was like I am riding a thousand miles, it took me thirty long minutes. But when I already gave my 7.00php to ‘Mang’ tricycle driver, I saw endless line of people who are also going to the same place. I then got back to the tricycle and asked ‘Mang’ driver to drop me to tryk terminal.

From the terminal, it will take me ten to fifteen minute walk to reach the place to ride a bus. Here I go again clashing with the pouring mizzles and sturdy wind. Like what I encountered in ‘Caltex’, there were also numerous people competing for a bus ride. Knowing that I can easily squeeze myself to bus’s door, I won!

I took a bus going to Magallanes, MRT station, but my instinct was wrong, before we reach the toll plaza from South Super Highway going to EDSA, there starts the super slow moving traffic jam. I thought of going back to ‘Caltex’ and wait for a jeepney but everything’s too late. I became restless, it was already 8:30am and I am in the middle of all these non moving vehicles. I was riding a non air conditioned bus, I was standing, I am rain-wet, I can barely feel a man’s breathe in my nape, I am inside the bus for one and a half hour, and I should be in the office by 9:00am.

Then everything inside the bus was surprised when our Mang Bus driver argued with his co-bus driver. What happened was they both broke each other’s rear view mirror. Haha. The sight was so hilarious, they were arguing like kids. Even the worst experience can be so funny and so depressing at the same time.

After some fuss, all passengers were back with a frowning face when we found out that there were two buses that accidentally bumped each other and results the catastrophic traffic ” and cause on being so so so late, for me.

Everything was a jinx. Or was it just me?
Gladly, I finally make it to Magallanes. Once I lay my feet outside the bus, I can already feel my leg muscles and bones cracking. Maybe it was because of my almost two hour ride standing.

I excitedly run to the station’s escalator to at least let my legs be relaxed, but what upsets me more was that the escalator was under repair or ’something’. Annoyingly, I climbed the 28 step escalator. Had no choice.

“Pag tinamaan ka nga naman ng malas, lahat na malas!”

10:20am, too late for 9:00am. Have waited to ride MRT for 10mins, then I press myself in a sardine’s like scene inside the train, the only time I took my seat was when we already reached GMA Kamuning station which was the last station before I reach Q. Ave MRT station. Great!

Like a prisoner who experienced his first day being a free man, I eagerly wanted to leave the station and wanted to make it to the office as fast as I can.

Walking with big steps in Q. Ave overpass, I accidentally semi-slipped (define semi-slipped: you slipped but not really; this cause a two to three seconds disappearance of your poise). The floor was slick and wet because of heavy rain’s help.

For the second time, I took tricycle going to ELJCC. At last, nothing ‘unusual’ happened. Then finally, I reached my seat at exactly 11am.

Turn on my computer, fill my orangey & greeny tumbler with water, place my 2 mobile phones in my left side of the table, put peaches & cream flavored lotion in my hands, feel the wellness of my keyboard, yellowy spongebob desktop background, click on the itunes, headset in keenly little ears..

Then, its John Mayer’s … Gravity…

It says all.
