Updates
Sooo.. I am still confused on what I really wanted to happen with my life but I’m quite satisfied on the progress and even happier where I am now. As my previous entry says, I already have a new job and I love it. Going to office never felt so infuriating. It feels like going to my playground and amuses myself with inexhaustible puzzles, only, it’s more complicated. Things have to change and I’m proud of myself, I took the risk. And now, here I am, too damn proud.
Plans? I want to enroll for Technology Management in U.P next (or next next) year. But before that, I would want to take a SQL Server Certification. Yes, the nerdiness in me hits me. I am trying to self study and make myself bore stiff with books/ebooks/sites that talks about SQL Server configuration. But yes, weird thing is I’m actually enjoying it. That means I am on the right track of my roadblocks. I am going in the right intersections eh.
But how about those extra-curricular activities? I haven’t found my ‘hobby’. Well technically, my hobby or better yet you’ll find me reading books, cook and eat, watch movie, waste time with my laptop (her name is Helena, by the way
pronounced as He-ley-na which means Light), doing nasty crafts, and…… that’s it! I can’t believe that’s it. Sheesh. Good news, a friend is involved with some sort of travelling. They explore Philippines’ nature at its best – in mountains, seas, land and forest. He said, they even visit some of Philippines’ never been explored islands and places. Well that thought already excites me. One time he asked me to join their trip on Cagbalete Quezon but unfortunately rainy days is ‘in’ right now and the travel was postponed. Oh I hate rainy days. Ugh. Plus, I’m looking for that ‘something’ where I will devote my time on it. As in seriously put ‘me’ into it. I haven’t seen it, haven’t found, I even haven’t had a glimpse of it. They say, when you’re too eager finding it, it won’t show up and keeps on hiding. It will be revealed in an unexpected time. But I will keep my mouth shot for now. I want to silently looking and searching for that ‘something’ so that ‘something’ won’t hear me.
Baseball
Pitchers throw a variety of pitches, each of which has a slightly different velocity, trajectory, movement, hand position, wrist position and/or arm angle. These variations are introduced to confuse the batter in various ways, and ultimately aid the defensive team in getting the batter or baserunners out.
To obtain variety, and therefore enhance defensive baseball strategy, the pitcher manipulates the grip on the ball at the point of release. Variations in the grip cause the seams to “catch” the air differently, therefore changing the trajectory of the ball, making it harder for the batter to hit.
.. Someone made a hard hit, and still I don’t get it. Am I the batter or the ball?

My life as usual.

Gravity
As the rain violently gave her morning drizzles as early as 5:00 am, it already send a sign in my spine that I can spend my Wednesday sleeping in my twin sister, divan. Never did I agree with this cloud-watery weather. I’d rather nap and choose to stay in my ‘home sweet home’. Unfortunately, not all people were blessed with their wish on taking their day off. Instead when my ever dependent alarm clock gave her high pitched tone at 6:30am asking me to wake, I never wasted a minute and prepared myself to work.
Left the house at 7:30am, with jeans folded up until it reaches my knees. Slip on my pink with white strapped slippers, dressed in baby collared white tee, wore my white hooded sweater, scuffed my sun-kissed blush, on my right hand was my aqua blue umbrella then off to the squelchy streets.
Rode a tricycle going to ‘Caltex’ where all jeepneys are going to Pasay Rotonda, MRT Taft Station. This mini ride was supposed to exit me to the subdivision, but it was like I am riding a thousand miles, it took me thirty long minutes. But when I already gave my 7.00php to ‘Mang’ tricycle driver, I saw endless line of people who are also going to the same place. I then got back to the tricycle and asked ‘Mang’ driver to drop me to tryk terminal.
From the terminal, it will take me ten to fifteen minute walk to reach the place to ride a bus. Here I go again clashing with the pouring mizzles and sturdy wind. Like what I encountered in ‘Caltex’, there were also numerous people competing for a bus ride. Knowing that I can easily squeeze myself to bus’s door, I won!
I took a bus going to Magallanes, MRT station, but my instinct was wrong, before we reach the toll plaza from South Super Highway going to EDSA, there starts the super slow moving traffic jam. I thought of going back to ‘Caltex’ and wait for a jeepney but everything’s too late. I became restless, it was already 8:30am and I am in the middle of all these non moving vehicles. I was riding a non air conditioned bus, I was standing, I am rain-wet, I can barely feel a man’s breathe in my nape, I am inside the bus for one and a half hour, and I should be in the office by 9:00am.
Then everything inside the bus was surprised when our Mang Bus driver argued with his co-bus driver. What happened was they both broke each other’s rear view mirror. Haha. The sight was so hilarious, they were arguing like kids. Even the worst experience can be so funny and so depressing at the same time.
After some fuss, all passengers were back with a frowning face when we found out that there were two buses that accidentally bumped each other and results the catastrophic traffic ” and cause on being so so so late, for me.
Everything was a jinx. Or was it just me?
Gladly, I finally make it to Magallanes. Once I lay my feet outside the bus, I can already feel my leg muscles and bones cracking. Maybe it was because of my almost two hour ride standing.
I excitedly run to the station’s escalator to at least let my legs be relaxed, but what upsets me more was that the escalator was under repair or ’something’. Annoyingly, I climbed the 28 step escalator. Had no choice.
“Pag tinamaan ka nga naman ng malas, lahat na malas!”
10:20am, too late for 9:00am. Have waited to ride MRT for 10mins, then I press myself in a sardine’s like scene inside the train, the only time I took my seat was when we already reached GMA Kamuning station which was the last station before I reach Q. Ave MRT station. Great!
Like a prisoner who experienced his first day being a free man, I eagerly wanted to leave the station and wanted to make it to the office as fast as I can.
Walking with big steps in Q. Ave overpass, I accidentally semi-slipped (define semi-slipped: you slipped but not really; this cause a two to three seconds disappearance of your poise). The floor was slick and wet because of heavy rain’s help.
For the second time, I took tricycle going to ELJCC. At last, nothing ‘unusual’ happened. Then finally, I reached my seat at exactly 11am.
Turn on my computer, fill my orangey & greeny tumbler with water, place my 2 mobile phones in my left side of the table, put peaches & cream flavored lotion in my hands, feel the wellness of my keyboard, yellowy spongebob desktop background, click on the itunes, headset in keenly little ears..
Then, its John Mayer’s … Gravity…
It says all.
