On Bold

He has a list of these people that he cannot lose in his life. These people are so important to him. Some are special. However, most are closely related to him. From his past, present perhaps will be related to him in the coming years. You saw the list. It made you smile. Why? For the reason that your name is on his top list. You are his number One. You are besieged of what you saw.

Suddenly, the smile in your lips fades away. Why? You noticed that in his list, he had written a name. The name was neither in the number two spot nor on number three. Actually the name is far enough for you not to have sighted. Aside from, the name is written in bold letters and in a larger font size. You are not troubled by the name. Swiftly after a miniute, you began asking yourself, why the name is included in his list, in bold letters and in a larger font size compared than yours.

You are in the number one list. You are on his top priority. But the name is now rapidly bothering you. You wanted to ask him the “whys”. But in the back of your mind, you already knew the answer. You are just afraid that the answers will come out on his very words.

Unfortunately, the list is not yours. It was written by him. The precise rule is that, he is the only one who can erase the names and if your name in included in his list, you have the ability of removing your own name, only. You wanted to find ways on how to erase the name. Unluckily, the right of erasing the name lay on his very hands. The only thing you can do is remove your name.

The playful mind asks, is it still possible for him to erase the name written in bold letter? Will you be glad that at least your name is on his top list? Or is it better that you should be the one to erase yours?

Disclaimer: For that someone who transforms me into a brainchild. I am very much thankful to you. The truth is I have read your blog early this year. I have adopted some of your words and ideas in my current blog. I was inspired, really. Hoping that we’ll be introduced and yak around some day. Once more, thank you.

Last August 2007, the queen of Bossa released her second album entitled My Bossanova which has 18 tracks. Again, she’ll capture you with her soft chilling voice and will suddenly make you dance with her sambas. Sitti was the co-writer of Track 17’s A song for Penny Brown. Highly recommended for those romantics and who enjoys the sweet soulful sounds. One of the must buys.

Album’s track list:

  1. Cross my Heart
  2. Time and Tide
  3. With or Without You
  4. My Ever Changing Moods
  5. Baby I Love Your Way
  6. 2 Become 1
  7. Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw
  8. Hinahanap Kita
  9. Take a Bow
  10. I Won’t Stand in Your Way
  11. Smooth Operator
  12. Tayo’t Mag Samba
  13. If You Leave Me Now
  14. When I Fall In Love
  15. Ikaw Lamang
  16. I Need To Be In Love
  17. A Song For My Penny Brown
  18. The Look For Love

Sneak Peak

There are things that made us stronger in whatever challenges that came into our lives. I’m so much thankful that my best friend - Jesus is always good and loving and made me not to experience too much impairs and hurts. In this current trial, unfortunately, do not deserve any of my efforts. It was just a waste of time.

I’d rather smell the flowers, sing with the trees, fly a kite, play with my little cousins and run as fast as I can.

So many blessings. I’m keeping my head up high.

Catching Up
icon1 fishoi | icon2 At Work, family | icon4 10 29th, 2007| icon3No Comments »
Been busy this month and became one of the in the demand analyst in my workplace. Yah! Loved the attention, love it, love it, love it. But unfortunately for me, I haven’t still completed my project, and the deadline? On the 3rd week of November! Waah!. Being diligent can be so annoying some time. Not only that, I still have to allot time for one other project that requires my thorough attention on its system requirements and functionalities. Now, the deadline? On the 2nd week of November. Oh my! My plans these coming long weekends, well, fun and take home work loads. What else?

Oh well, enough with labor topics.

Last Oct 9 was my Papoi’s 51st birthday. It was just a simple celebration. I bought his favorites, rocky road yum yum cake and double dutch ice cream. Nothing beyond normal happened. But the plus one age of my Papoi and knowing that I still have him on my side. Watching him sleeping on the couch while perfectly holding his mug with a half full already been out of the hot temperature coffee. Or the way we enjoy eating sweet finger food together while my Mamoi is jealously eating her fresh fruits. Or how we spend our weekend lunch watching Kenjin Himura’s series and on how Kenjin fought his allies with his Hiten Mitsurugi style. Or how he again and again and again watches his favorite movies. Hmm, morning questions like “Sasabay ka ba? Buendia?“. Or how he always self-proud telling some of his stories which I seldom got bored listening to. How he patiently wait for me and Mamoi finish our on Sale shopping.

Back from the past. Things that I have learned from my Papoi that I heartily keep until now:

  • Making a kite.
  • Fly a kite.
  • Using tirador.
  • How to pick the best pebble for tirador.
  • How to use a pellet gun.
  • How to shut pellet gun accurately to the target.
  • How to use water gun.
  • How to shut water gun straight to a dog’s eyes.
  • How to kick dog’s nose
  • Use household tools.
  • How to ride a bike. Fyi: I didn’t learn. Haha!
  • Taught me how to use chopsticks. Step 1: get the buto of calamansi in toyo. Haha!
  • How to defend yourself using an umbrella.
  • How to wash car.
  • Introduced the rhythm of Jazz, Bossa and Blues
  • Open my heart with classics.
  • The love of canvas and colors.
  • Being proud of the country.
  • Grateful of the smallest blessings.
  • Be an adventurer and the love of travel.

Those are the commons. This page is not enough how my dad became the greatest ever. Well, unfortunately, my Papoi fail to teach me how to punch real hard. Which I have learned from myself, when someone dared me to knock him out. I won. Of course.

Also, Hong Kong happened! Our family vacation for the year. Fun! Papoi even jokingly said that next year would be Vienna. This vacation is a post celebration for my Mamoi’s birthday on November. Can’t wait for my next journey with my Mamoi and Papoi.

Sigh.

I want SPA! Yesterday we had spa and now, I badly want to pamper myself more and more and more. This form of relaxation was first introduced to me on the 23rd day of June this year (damn! i still remember). We happen to enjoy too much of the Avilon Zoo and left us with motionless energy and crying for someone to indulge us with mollycoddle treats. We end up with Blue Mountain Spa. My first time was the bestEST first times, so far. We had our second time here, it was when he arrived from SanFo and he promised to pamper me with a Spa. Promise was delivered. I love him more. Hehe. Then, the search for more SPA continues.

We also tried F Salon’s foot spa, where my Honey hated me for being so “kuripot” and I chose somethings so cheap and it ends up me going home with a wounded left foot! Advice, don’t ever trust those 199php market strategies some offers, all is not worth it. Why not settle on the service instead of the price? Plus, you should be wise enough to explore Spa services, then, everythings fun fun fun.

We tried twice in Earth’s Accent Spa in our subdivision. It’s affordable and so so so worth it! Oh yah, I also went here with my friend Gelyn, when we had a girl to girl bonding [hey stop! it's not what you're thinking, you dirty mind].

Then yesterday, after we have gone with Imus’ fiesta, we went to pamper our craving-for-a-massage-feet with Foot for the Gods. Say? Its soooo mmhhmmm sarap!

Wow! That would be six (6) spa visits for five (5) months. And right now, I want a SPA!!!
